At Community Church of the Nazarene our purpose is to cultivate followers of Jesus Christ who become more like Him everyday. The Bible tells us that those who desire to follow Him are like trees planted by a stream that have roots tapped into a constant stream of nutrients (Psalm 1). Jesus says the Kingdom of God is very much like seeds planted in different types of soil--some good and some bad (Matthew 13). We want to help you develop a relationship with God that begins as an emerging sampling from a small seed, develops roots in good soil as it is nurtured and watered, matures to produce fruit of a Christ-like attitude and service, and is then spread to others through words and actions.
